Design as
Experience
The launch of ALICE.D Issue 13 at Hannah St Hotel — an immersive installation, an evening of conversation, and a celebration of design as a living presence.
For Melbourne Design Week, Hannah St Hotel became a living design experiment. In collaboration with ALICE.D Studio and floral artist XFLOS, the central elevator was transformed into an immersive micro-ecosystem — a convergence of nature, sound and graphic intervention embedded within the rhythm of the guest journey.
The installation reimagined hospitality as a site for cultural exchange, inviting guests to encounter design as a living, evolving presence in real time. On view from 14 to 24 May.
The activation closed with the launch of ALICE.D Issue 13 at Upper Ground. Guests travelled through the immersive elevator installation before arriving to an evening of design, conversation and community.
Created with ALICE.D Studio and XFLOS, the night was a celebration of design as experience — through installation, atmosphere and cultural dialogue.
